MEET THE BOSS!

I am a Certified Nurse Midwife & Women's Health Nurse Practitioner by trade who is all about natural life - natural birth, natural lifestyle and of course, natural hair! I have been a vegetarian for the past 11 years trying my best to transition to full vegan (I am struggling hard with cheese :)). I started my natural hair journey  over 17 years ago and although I am loving the decision I made to embrace my natural curls and kinks, I too have struggled with finding a product that is right for my hair, my budget and my desire to be as natural as I can. That is why I wanted to make a product that is affordable and gentle on my hair. Once I found the combinations that I loved I wanted to share with others.

My background is in Chemistry. Prior to becoming a Nurse Midwife I worked in a chemistry lab at a major brewing company.  Making these products in my "lab" aka Kitchen really takes me back to my roots, literally! I put my heart and soul into making the product as natural as I can with the best quality ingredients so that you have a product that you love! I use these products on everyone in my family. Please feel free to share your opinion and suggestions for new products - I value them! (And trust me I love spending time in my "lab"!)

When I am not seeing patients as a Midwife or mixing up your next jar of butter or cream I am managing my other business Uzima Rejuvenation Station, LLC or traveling with my wonderful husband and children, 4 sons whom I affectionately call my  4 Lil' Kings - Kevin, Mason, Noah and Judah & my beautiful daughter Jubilee.
